Egyptian female actor Rania Youssef has attracted a five year jail term for wearing revealing dress to the closing ceremony of a film festival in Cario Egypt.
The female thespian was charged with public obscenity after a group of lawyers filed a complaint to the Chief prosecutor.
The 44 years old female actor whose trial starts January 12, may likely get up to five years imprisonment for her indecent dressing and promotion of sexual vices as complained by the lawyers.
Rania has since apologized for her wrong dressing, saying she wouldn’t have worn the dress if she knew it would cause such controversy.
