The African Afro Giant, Burna Boy’s mother, and also manager said last year that this year will blow our minds, now we understand why she made that statement.
Last month, Burna Boy performed on Jimmy Kimmel show (one of the most-watched program in the US) where he wowed the audience with his performance of “Anybody”.
Yesterday, Burna Boy appeared on The Daily Show hosted by Trevor Noah and he brought on his A-game. Trevor Noah who is a South African comedian hosts The Daily Show on the Comedy channel network (The Daily Show is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program). He performed his hit songs ‘Anybody and Ye’.

On the show, Burna Boy also talked about his deal with Spotify to launch ‘Burna Bank’, his Afro-Fusion music, his album and how he met Trevor Noah on the show.
On Monday, August 12, 2019, Spotify announced that it has teamed up with Burna Boy to launch ‘Burna Bank.’
Inspired by the artwork for the African Giant album, ‘Burna Bank’ is, “The installation features a unique ATM which will be dispensing custom, collectible bills designed by Sajjad Musa. Each bill is inspired by Burna’s Nigerian roots, and his quest to call out corruption and the disproportionate distribution of wealth.”
‘Burna Bank’ will take the form of an ATM and it will be on the site till Sunday, August 18, 2019.
