Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo popularly known as RMD, has revealed the actors that should be regarded as legends.
The actor spoke on ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ with host Bae U Barbie. The host said he’s not one of the people who shares the view that RMD is ‘a legend’.
RMD replied that it was ‘a scam’, he said he shared the same view with the host, that he’s not a legend.
He said if he wanted to rate legends in the industry, he would see Pete Edochie and Olu Jacobs while showing his disapproval of being ranked with those senior actors.
He said, “I think the legend of a thing is a scam. I have my legends like Uncle Pete and Uncle Olu Jacobs; these are our ancestors and legends.
“I have been watching him (Olu Jacobs) when he was saying Ribena children are the healthy children. So I don’t subscribe to being called legend and when they call me that I feel they are trying to relegate me to neighbourhood of retired people or those nearing retirement.”
