This edition of Big Brother has not exactly delivered the kind of excitement we see in the big brother house. The past week had some interesting moments scattered in between long dull moments but it still leaves us with the question of “Where is the Pepper?”. Here are some highlights of what happened in the house last week.
Khaffi’s in her Feeling, Trouble in Paradise
We all remember how lovey-dovey khaffi was during last week’s eviction show when Ebuka asked her about she felt towards Gedoni. Anyway, during the week, Khaffi felt that Gedoni was distancing himself from her. Do she had the talk with him. Literally asking him point-blank if she was just a strategy for him to make kimporah jealous and since Kim had the left the house, he no longer wanted anything to do with her. It was definitely a long epistle form her but Gedoni put her mind at rest that he didn’t mean it that way and all. But do you Khaffi was thirsty though?
Because there were clips of the two of them in bed under the covers. We are not sure exactly what happened but a good guess will be something R-rated.
Mercy and Ike, Happily ever after?
Ike had his birthday on Friday and the whole house came together to celebrate him. Mercy had some really nice things to say about him including the fact that he is “scattering her head” They shared a kiss and lived happily ever after… until Saturday night when she started to grind Tuoyo hard on the dance floor. Ike wasn’t feeling all that and he told her so after the party.
Thelma and Omashola “Your Blockus will Scatter”
Thelma and Omashola were also roped into the Big Brother Naija Saturday night party drama, as they had a fight after Omashola barged into the bathroom without knocking.
A tipsy Omashola’s ‘e no reach fight’ (not enough for a fight) defense over the unannounced bathroom visit, got Thelma quite infuriated. She wasn’t having it even though he was clearly tipsy. His laugh annoyed her more and she was heard saying “Your blockus will scatter.”
Mike and Tacha; the Drunken Guys
Tacha’s anger centered on the guys getting drunk before the girls at the party, which Mike shrugged off at first, the fight, however, took a different turn after Tacha pushed Mike, called him names and also dragged in Omashola.
Nelson and Esther, The Heart wants what it wants
Last week, after Esther ‘gently’ rejected Frodd (which left the poor guy is wasn’t tears, mind you), she finally figured out what she wants. Well, more like who she wants. And it is Nelson! So the two housemates fervently pursued her love intere3st and that sheep seems to be sailing quite nicely.
Let’s Talk Eviction!
Seyi’s Risky Decision.
Earlier last week, when they played the game to decide who get to have the Veto Power, Seyi won and he became the housemate with the veto power.
So the nominations came in and five housemates were up for eviction. Frodd, Tuoyo, Tacha, Mike, and Seyi. Of course, you would expect Seyi with the Veto power to save himself and replace with someone else but Seyi did the unexpected and decided he wasn’t going to pick anyone and he left himself up for eviction. Biggie was not happy with this. He has banned Seyi from ever having the veto power.
One Real Eviction and Two Fake Evictions
Ebuka, the host, announced that there would be three evictions. One real eviction and two fake evictions. The rest of the housemates will think there have been three evictions because the fakely evicted housemates will be in a secret room.
Fraudulent Frodd
So, Mike was saved. Tacha and Seyi got the fake evictions, they would be in the secret room for some days until Biggie returned them back into the house. Tuoyo got evicted for real. When Ebuka showed Tuoyo the footage of the housemates that nominated him for eviction, while some did not surprise him, the physiotherapist and stripper, the nomination from Frodd shook him. Also because the pair had been bonding some days prior. He even called him a “Fraud Frodd”. Life happens, buddy. It’s a game.
Ebuka’s Advice
Before the end of the eviction show, Ebuka addressed the housemates and advised them to let their guards down. Based on how this season has not been delivering in the drama department, compared to other seasons, those words couldn’t have come at a better time. The housemates need to loosen up. I hope they heed Ebuka’s advise and bring some excitement into the house.
Let’s hope it gets more interesting this week.
