The 27th edition of the MTV Movies and TV Awards held over the weekend at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica California, USA. The event was hosted by Tiffany Haddish US comedian and actor.
Black Panther topped the nominations list with Stranger things.The generation award was won by Chris Pratt and acts like Jonas, Nick, Mustard and Chloe x Hall. Celebrity presenters for the night were Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, Seth Rogen, Michael B. Jordan and Zendaya, some of the winners includes:
Black Panther for Best movie, best performance in a movie(Chadwick Boseman), best hero(Chadwick Boseman),best villain(Michael B. Jordan) while Stranger things and Girls Trip (Tiffany Haddish) won best show and best comic performance respectively.
Black panther got six nominations and won four, a good one for the wakanda.
