Directors Guild of Nigeria elects New Executives

The Directors’ Guild of Nigeria, the umbrella body housing all Television and Film Directors in Nigeria today the 13th April 2018 elected New Officials that will pilot the affairs the guild from 2018 to 2020.

The election took place at Abeokuta as part of a three day event, running from 11th to 13th of April, tagged OGUN-NOLLYWOOD FIESTA.

History was also made as all the Four new Officials returned unopposed.

From right to left, we have Mr. Fred Amata, the elected president, Mr. Uche Agbo, National Secretary elect, Tony Akposhiri, Director of Finance elect, and Osita Okoli, the provost elect.

The President elect during his vote of thanks, made his commitment to carrying everyone along and hinted that the achievements of the next two years will be resounding than the past two years.

Earlier during the day an Annual General meeting of the guild was held, where the President enjoined all practitioners to plug into the visionary leadership, and embrace the numerous opportunities the leadership is offering.

He also seize the occasion to thank the Ogun State Government for their hospitality and support.
