Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, revealed she was a social media troll before becoming famous.
The 22-year-old singer shared that she had a page dedicated to American rapper, Nicki Minaj.
She disclosed this on the ‘I Said What I Said: podcast, co-hosted by Feyikemi Abudu and Jola Ayeye.
“I had a troll page, I had a Nicki Minaj fan page before I became Ayra Starr,” she said.
Since becoming famous, Ayra Starr has been very vocal about bullying from online trolls.
She has been repeatedly trolled over her skimpy dressing and postures. She once responded to trolls, saying her “bad postures” were due to the weight of carrying Afrobeats singlehandedly.
