Nigerian actor and on-air personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu has clarified his exit from the Honest Bunch podcast.
The OAP, recently resigned from his position as a host of the podcast, after being caught in a crossfire between reality TV star, DeeOne and social media influencer, Verydarkman.
In this previous episode, DeeOne claimed that Verydarkman is attracted to men, and this led to a lot of controversies.
Verydarkman gave a response, claiming Nedu is behind the allegations levelled against him.
Verydarkman claimed that Nedu has been wanting him on his podcast show, and he has declined the offer numerous times since 2024, he also cited that Nedu also promised to buy him a car if he makes an appearance.
This led to Nedu’s resignation.
Nedu’s exit has raised a lot of eyebrows; which some claimed he was sacked by the producers.
In a recent press briefing in Lagos, Nedu clarified that he wasn’t sacked, contrary to what some people think.
He said, “Let me clarify that I wasn’t fired from Honest Bunch Podcast. I decided to step away when the attacks became personal. So that the show can go on.”
