Kambli: The Whole 30 Yards Movie Review.
As the year rounds up, Nollywood has given us a movie for the season. Kambli: The Whole 30 Yards is one romantic comedy that is worth the hype and the wait.
The movie, which is quite predictable, focuses on the life of Kambili Maduka, played by Nancy Isime; She is an irresponsible and unorganized 28-year old lady who, after her 29th birthday, becomes fixated on getting married before she turns 30. However, things take a turn for the worse for her when her boyfriend Mawuli Gavor of 4 years breaks up with her due to her lifestyle. She is also suspended from work due to her constant lateness.
Her life keeps spiraling after her mother, who is over 50 years, Elvina Ibru, also gets engaged to her athletic, handsome lover, Uzor Arukwe.
This series of events leads Kambili into the journey od self-realization to straighten her path. With her friends’ help, she sets out to win her boyfriend back and make her “married at 30” dream come true.
She manages to accomplish all she set out to achieve with her best friends, Swanky JKA, Venita Akpofure. Then came the (expected) twist all viewers would love.
Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards is a movie for all ages and was quite a delight to watch. The production and the performances of the cast will captivate you from start to finish.
The performances of the cast are probably the best part of the movie. Nancy Isime, the ever beautiful Sharon Ooja, Swanky, and of course, Mawuli Gavor was such a visual delight and easy to love.
Oh! Yes, and I did not forget mama Toyin Abraham; Mamma gave her fans more reasons to love her.
I recommend all to go and see the movie kambili: The Whole 30 Yards as it was quite a delight, though the pairing of the love birds a bit awkward, aside from that, the film produced by Kayode Kasum is a jolly good movie to see with your loved one.
