Lagos State Ministry of Health has confirmed reports of an AMVCA attendee who was showing symptoms of the virus as at the time he attended the Award and has now tested positive.

The Centre For Disease control in Nigeria has therefore advised that all who attended the event should stay in self-isolation for the period of 14 days and report if they show any symptoms of the infection.
In recent times, several government officials have tested positive for the virus including Atiku Abubakar’s son, the country’s Chief of Staff Abba Kyari and the Governor of Bauchi, Mohammed Bola.
