The Lagos based director known for his many successful Television Series, Kingsley Omoefe has been appointed the project director (Nigeria) for the African Diaspora Cinema Festival. The film festival is based in the beautiful city of Florence in Italy. Kingsley Omoefe Oyisama is a member of Directors’s Guild of Nigeria who has in the past held various posts in the guild, up till the Vice President position. He is an alumni of Colorado Film School. He was once named “The King of Soap Opera” in Nigeria. Having directed five running TV series at same time. The series include: Domino, Everyday People, Family Affair, Just the two of us, and One Love. He had earlier directed many other series before the aforementioned.
Omoefe as he is fondly called read business studies at Lagos State Polytechnic, Film Directing at National Film Institute, (NFI) Jos, and Dramatic studies from Jovies Drama School.
