Not quite long after the AMVCA, that saw many nollywood stars like Omotola and Femi Adebayo winning, they have yet added another award.
The City Peoples Award 2018 which held at the Balmoral Event Center Ikeja Lagos, again after many years coming have recognized outstanding nollywood performances.
The award ceremony which gathered once again industry talents was hosted by comedian Tee-A.
Omotola won Icon of the year, Femi Adebayo took the award for The Most lnnovative Actor of the year.
Other award winners include Ruth Kadiri for Best Actress of the Year,
Jumoke Odetola for Best Actress of the Year (Yoruba), Adeniyi Johnson for Best Supporting Actor of the Year (Yoruba), Nkechi Blessing Sunday for Most Promising Actress of the year (Yoruba), Eniola Ajao for Best Supporting Actress of the Year (Yoruba), Ope Bamgbopa for Revelation of the Year (Yoruba).
Oyebade Adebimpe won the award for Best New Actress of the Year (Yoruba), while Seyi Edun took the Best Young Producer of the Year.
