Nigerian-American based actor,singer and model Olurotimi Akimosho,known for his role as Darius Morrison on the Starz series Boss, and currently stars as Andre Coleman in TV series ‘POWER’ ,says visiting Nigeria has been a life-changing experience.
He is not only a talented actor, he is also a musician and has released albums that have received massive airplay and doubled his fans all over America and Africa. The 30-year-old multi-talented entertainer is the perfect blend of Nigerian and American and makes sure to serve both sides of his heritage. Rotimi as he is popularly known as, is currently signed to 5OCENT’S record G-UNIT is scheduled to perform in ABUJA.
Rotimi at age 15,won the Apollo Theater Amateur Night award twice. He attended Columbia High School where he was marked out as a talent both on the school’s basketball team and the choir. He continued his studies at Northwestern University and graduated with a communications minor in business. Rotimi is the lead model/spokesperson of rapper T.I.’s AKOO Clothing and also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FrontRoSeat productions.
Rotimi Akimosho, who starred in the popular TV series ‘Power’ as Andre Coleman, has described his visit to Nigeria as a life-changing experience.The actor said although a lot of people are just seeing him now as a singer, he has been singing long before taking the role in ‘Power’. He said acting in power gave room for him to show case his acting ability.He also did a Remix to his song ‘Love Riddim’ with legendary singer Akon.
Rotimi seems to be enjoying his visit to Nigeria.He arrived Abuja,Nigeria on the 16th of November 2019. He tweeted; ‘Wow it feels incredible to be in Nigeria!!! Home sweet home!”
