Netflix’s 2018 festive hit The Princess Switch is officially getting a sequel.
Featuring High School Musical favorite Vanessa Hudgens as Duchess Margaret once again, this follow-up – titled The Princess Switch: Switched Again – finds her character unexpectedly inheriting the throne to Montenaro (via The Hollywood Reporter).
After hitting a rough patch with Kevin (played by Nick Sagar), it’s down to Margaret’s double, Stacy, to save the day before a familiar-looking party animal named Fiona foils their plans.
Filming will kick off next month in London for a planned 2020 release.
It’s not the only festive Netflix movie Hudgens is on board for either, as this year she’ll be starring in The Knight Before Christmas as “a kind science teacher who has been disillusioned by love” alongside a “cursed medieval knight she must help return to his time”.
The Knight Before Christmas will be released on November 21.
